Sustainable Paper, Rooted in Culture

Embrace the elegance of tradition with Nepali Lokta Paper — a timeless, eco-conscious material handcrafted from the bark of the Lokta plant (Daphne papyracea and Daphne bholua), sustainably harvested from Nepal’s Himalayan forests. With its beautiful texture, natural durability, and centuries-old legacy, each sheet of Lokta Paper tells a story of heritage, resilience, and environmental harmony.

🔥 Cooking
Bark is boiled in eco-friendly electric or firewood boilers to break down fibers.
🧺 Sheet Formation
The soft pulp is manually spread on wooden frames to form sheets of various sizes and thickness.

☀️ Sun Drying
Sheets are dried in the sun for 20–30 minutes to preserve energy and quality.

🎨 Finishing
